Malva sylvestris Linn.. A perennial, 0.3-1.2 m high. Stem tall, erect, strong, woody, branched. Leaves on long stalks, 3-7 lobed, reniform at the base, lobes radiating from a common centre, the lobes shallow, the margin scalloped, smooth above, roughly hairy bellow.
